Adding day of wedding transport will ensure everyone gets back to their rooms safely, please be sure to include this critical element to your order.

There is no on-site restaurant, but its central location within the village provides an endless array of restaurants, cafes and shops within walking distance. This property is the furthest away from the wedding venue but offers the convenience and conviviality of being in a really cute town. Let’s pay a visit to the cutest town in Provence! Shops stuffed with Provençal treasures, picturesque cafes, winding lanes and darling corner fountains are why visitors flock to this bastion of charm. It can be a bit busy in June which is why we’re starting after lunch with a visit to the ancient city of Glanum on the edge of town; a historical site that dates back as early as the 1st century BC. Discover the well-preserved Roman art and architecture a result of the romanization of Provence in in the first century BC. Walk through the ruins of the city and learn about the excavation that took place in the 1920s after the town had been buried under sediment for over 1700 years. Afterwards, we go to the village of Saint Remy. Starting at the center for a brief introduction to get your bearings, then you are free to wander, shop and eat until our 9pm return to your hotel. Must-do for shoppers, history buffs and anyone looking to enjoy a wonderful afternoon in Sarah and Jonathan’s favorite village in Provence. If you don’t want to do Glanum, we can drop you off in the town for extra shopping time.

Our three day pre-wedding Paris extension includes train tickets from Paris to Avignon in Provence and transfer from the train station to your hotel. If you’re not doing our Paris extension, but still want train tickets from Paris to Avignon Oct 6 and help getting that train, select “Paris>Avignon train”. Our four day post-wedding Provence extension includes train tickets from Bordeaux to Paris and transfer from your hotel in Provence to the Avignon train station. If you’re not doing our extension, but want train tickets from Bordeaux to Paris Oct 10, select “Avignon>Paris train”. Be sure to select the number of train tickets you require.

Train bookings with Travellur include our excellent guide to finding your train at the station in Paris which can be confusing and how to find your seats on the train. We dont want you to miss the train!

Please note that there is no checked baggage for the train and it can be tricky to get on the train with multiple suitcases. We recommend luggage delivery service for those with large suitcases or not accustom to traveling by train in Europe. This service picks up your luggage at your hotel in Paris and delivers it at your hotel in Bordeaux. In this way, you can travel with ease and just bring your snacks and book on the train.

We recommend getting the smallest car for your needs as roads in France are much smalller than you expect. Please include a note at check out with the birthday of the driver. If you are not arriving/departing by the train that we book for you, please include a note at check out with the pick up/drop off time and location (airport/city/train station) you desire.

We highly recommend getting this because taxis and Ubers are not readily available in this area unless you book in advance and you may not want to drive on dark, windy, country roads after the wedding. We will pick you up at your hotel at the right time and provide staggered return transfer after the wedding so you can leave the festivities when you want and make it safely back to your hotel. Cancellations:

Transport orders are 50% refundable before March 30, 2023 and non-refundable after. Car rental orders are refundable minus a 50€ cancellation fee before May 17, 2023 and non-refundable after. Hotel orders are refundable minus a 50€ cancellation fee before March 30, 2023, cancellations between March 30 and May 17, 2023 are 50% refundable and cancellations after May 17, 2023 are non-refundable.
